"After spending almost 6 months in a walking cast, and feeling frustrated with traditional physical therapy I found Dr. Welsh through my insurance company. I researched quite a few Chiropractors in the area, and Dr. Welsh’s training and experience were just what I was looking for. I was a very active person before my injury…not an athlete, but a dedicated exerciser, and I was dying to get back to my normal life again. Six months in the walking cast had taken a toll on my body. I walked weird, my back was killing me. I was a mess. Dr. Welsh has helped me learn to walk normally again, and I’m thrilled to say I am now wearing two shoes (no more walking cast!) Also, I’m swimming and walking again, and I am so happy! I appreciate his way of explaining why he does what he does, whether it’s a chiropractic adjustment, ART, or showing me a particular exercise I need to do. I always leave feeling like I understand what just happened in my appointment and why. That means a lot to me. Dr. Welsh has given me hope and real results when “traditional” medicine didn’t know what else to do for me. I have a little ways to go still in my recovery, but I am confident that with his help and my work at home in between appointments I will be back to my old self in no time. I’m grateful for having found such a caring and knowledgeable partner in my recovery!"
"Dear Doc, – “My hobbit Doctor”
Wow! What a ride that was last week!! I’ve never had a medical emergency that landed me in the ER hooked up to the EKG!!! It was a frightening experience! Thank you for your care- I received relief from your adjustments. Thank you for the time and money you have invested in your passion for aiding and enabling people to strengthen their core. Peak Performance is a lofty goal and strong statement. I’m happy to say you live up to it. Awesome!!!!
P.S Chris – Thank you for working me in on the schedule. I know it's not always easy to do when someone says – hey I need to get in today. I appreciate the team effort. The Welsh brothers are an awesome team. Thank you so much."
Where do I start…As doctor recommendations normally begin, I was recommended to Dr. J by my girlfriend after I had injured my back. Let me also preface by saying I am not a fan of going to any type of doctor period, but seeing that I could barely walk I was game for trying anything. Little did I know that my sports performance life and overall health would be changed forever.
Dr. J; in my opinion, combines the best of both worlds for anyone who desires to keep their body in lasting good shape. Within the walls of Peak Performance Sports & Spine Center, he performs both chiropractic care and physical therapy. This allows him to diagnose and treat just about any sports-related injury plus any type of general ache or pain.
To date, he has treated and corrected any shoulder, back, hip flexor, and foot problems that I have presented him with. I religiously visit him weekly for maintenance whether I am in pain or not. This allows my body to be less susceptible to injury and makes me feel much better daily.
On another note, he understands that you cannot stop all of your daily activities to correct an injury. Being an athlete you nor I will never receive the “just don’t do anything until you feel better” speech. Dr. J will explain what are some dos and don’ts while healing allowing you to stay as active as possible. Keep in mind that consistency in bodily maintenance is key to getting better (see Dr. J weekly!).
"Whether you are a weekend warrior, world-class athlete, someone w/ an active lifestyle looking to stay healthy, or just wanting to get rid of a few lasting aches & pains I highly recommend scheduling your first appointment TODAY. O, and did I mention he takes many different insurances and/or has EXTREMELY great rates, but in the end can you put a price tag on your health?
Dr. J has truly changed my health and the way I view my body. Trust me when I say that a visit here will make you a healthier and happier person!"
